    Itinerary

Our New England road trip is perfect for those looking for East coast charm at the most picturesque time of year - enchanting autumn! Explore breathtaking vistas, charming towns, and historic landmarks during our road trip. Some of our highlights include:

    Bar Harbor

Experience Bar Harbor, the gateway to Acadia National Park. Although Bar Harbor is the shopping, dining, and nightlife headquarters of Desert Island, we cannot exclude its ocean cliffs, rocky beaches, and picturesque coastal communities. Acadia, the "crown jewel of the North Atlantic Coast" is accessible right from down town. As we continue through Maine we will encounter small fishing communities, artist colony's and don't forget about those famous lighthouses!

    White Mountain National Forest

As we move inland and into the scenic highlands of New Hampshire we will drive through the White Mountain National Forest and the Kancamagus Scenic Byway. You can expect fall foliage like you've never seen before (and hopefully stops at local restaurants for fresh cheeses and lemonades!) Mount Washington sits atop it all, with an optional cog railway all the way to the top! It is no question why authors such as Robert Frost and Henry David Thoreau loved this area. Of course the seafood is world-class too. New Hampshire's laid-back atmosphere is the perfect addition to a fantastic New England road trip.

    Boston

Move deeper into history as we explore places like Lexington, Concord, and Boston. From battle grounds to historic homes to whale watching to freedom trails, be prepared to visit some of the oldest cities in New England. With locations like Minute Man National Historical Park, Orchard House (home of Little Women author), Paul Revere's House, and of course the location of the Boston Tea Party, this is the history-buff's favorite part of the road trip. We expect lovers of culture, history, and food to love these stops.

Ask us how you can extend your road trip here in New England by venturing NorthWest to Vermont or South of Boston to locations like Plymouth and New Haven.
