Day 2
Welcome to Scotland
Become oriented with the city of Edinburgh through an orientation meeting with your guide and a stroll onto Prince Street in our neighborhood of Georgian Edinburgh. Optional walk to Edinburgh Royal Mile to see iconic views and architecture or up Calton Hill for a breathtaking sunset view.

Day 3
Gateway to the Highlands
Begin with an early morning train ride into Stirling, situated in the foothills of the Scottish Highlands with stunning views from its medieval castle walls. Then, immerse yourself deeper into the Highlands with the charm of a quaint town off-the-beaten path for dinner and hiking opportunities. Possible Highland Games day.

Free Day
Spend the day roaming the city of Edinburgh choosing among options such as Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, Saint Giles Cathedral, Canongate Kirk, the National Museum of Scotland and much more! Join us in the evening for a guided walking tour exploring the darker stories of Edinburgh.

Day 5
Welcome to Ireland
After a last free morning in Scotland with an optional hike up Arthur's Seat, we will hop on a short flight to Dublin, Ireland! Upon arriving at the hotel, we will take time to get oriented to our surroundings, explore a few cultural sights of Dublin and perhaps end the day with a classic Irish pub for dinner.

Dublin & Irish DNA
Experience the world-famous Book of Kells exhibit on a visit to the Library of Trinity College and explore the beautiful St. Patrick's Cathedral and Christ Church. Then, end your day with a walk along Temple Bar.

Free Day
Your chance to branch out on your own! Consider a walking tour of St. Stephens Green to learn the role it played in the 1916 Easter Rising or the archaeological wonders of the National Museum of Ireland. Dive into Irish culture with a tour of the James Joyce Center, the Guinness Storehouse, or the Jameson Distillery. If you prefer to spend your day outside the city, consider excursions to the cliffs of Howth or the village of Dalkey.

Day 1

Day 2
Our orientation meeting with start at 3 pm at our hotel in Athens. After initial orientation session, we will take a neighborhood walk and tour your cities most memorable sights. Optional after dinner walk as we explore the Old City. Walking: light (moderate, if you join after-dinner walk).
Day 3
After breakfast, we will explore the most ancient part of the city, Agora and the Mars Hill and the world-famous Acropolis and Parthenon. After free time for lunch, we will be introduced to modern Athens, the Parliament Square, and city’s famous food market. Rest of the day is free for personal explorations of the city. Walking: strenuous.
Day 4
After morning in the artistic neighborhoods of Athens, we will take ferry to the island of Santorini. We will be introduced to the island living and try authentic Greek salads for dinner at the beach. Walking: moderate.
Day 5
For our first full day at Santorini we will take a driving our of this small, traffic sparse, picturesque island. We will spend some time in Fira, Santorini’s main town. Evening sunsets will be celebrated every evening from a different part of the island. Walking: moderate.
Day 6
After breakfast, enjoy the day in Santorini, including stops at the black, red and white beaches. Time permitting, we will take evening sunset cruise to see the island from the sea. Walking: moderate to strenuous.
Day 7
Today we will travel from Greece to Italy. Once we arrive in Rome we will start with visits to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Piazza del Campidoglio, before capping our day at the 2000 years old Pantheon.
Walking: strenuous (watch out for unpaved streets of the Ancient Rome and the Roman Forum).
Day 8
In the morning, we will visit major sites of Christian Rome and then move on the Vatican City, including the Vatican Museum. After dinner, take an optional walk through the mysterious and charming streets of the medieval Rome.
Walking: strenuous (especially around the Vatican City and in the Vatican Museum).
Day 9
Today is a travel day. Know your flight itinerary – if any of your flights are delayed or canceled, contact the airline authorities ASAP.

Leisurely Day:
Today’s pace is relaxed, with about 1–2 miles of mostly level walking. You’ll have plenty of time to take in the sights, enjoy a café break, and soak up the local atmosphere. You should be comfortable climbing a flight of stairs, boarding a coach/car/taxi, and walking unassisted for up to an hour at an easy pace. Activities could take place at altitudes up to 5,000 feet.

Moderate Day:
Today involves 3–4 miles of walking, likely including cobblestone streets, moderate hills, or stairs. You should be comfortable on your feet for up to two hours at a time, with possible breaks included. Expect to navigate uneven terrain and climb up to two flights of stairs without assistance. Activities may take place at altitudes up to 6,000 feet.

Active Day:
Today includes 4+ miles of walking, with hills, stairs, and uneven terrain throughout. Expect to be on your feet for 2–3 hours at a time, with limited breaks. You should be comfortable climbing up to three flights of stairs and navigating various modes of transportation. Activities could reach altitudes between 6,000 and 9,000 feet. This day is best suited for travelers with solid mobility.
